Missing In Action!

I have been without a PC for over a week and have had no internet :( I did not realise how much I depend on my computer, I have been like a bear with a sore head all week!
My PC wasn't switching on so whilst it was away getting repaired we decided to do a major upgrade on it at the same time....getting a new motherboard, processor, tower, DVD RW, card reader,.....infact I think everything except the hard drives and graphics cards are being replaced. We replaced the graphics card last year and added another 600GB to our drives so they don't need replacing. I can't wait to get it back, it should be another 10 days or so.

In my absence there have been loads of stuff happening, both good and bad.

  • Good news: Fraserburgh Academy came in overall third in the Global Rock Challenge however we did win prize for the best costumes and best soundtrack so I am delighted my efforts paid off.
  • Good news: I won a place in the house challenge on UK Scrappers to represent my house in the final.
  • Good news: I won a prize draw from 3 Jolly Scrappers for making a purchase in February. My prize was 5 gorgeous double sided Dreamstreet Clubhouse papers, a Cherryarte chipboard alpha, Cherryarte chipboard stars/arrows and an Adirondack paint dabber.
  • Not so good news: My son Andrew burst his finger open and chipped the bone. He injured it when it was jammed in a door hinge courtesy of his younger brother!
  • Not so good news: I have fallen way behind in Cheryl Johnson's photography course whilst not being able to take the children out and with lack of PC.
  • Not so good news: I have had numerous migraines in one week, resulting in missing work and also a crop that I was really looking forward to.

My week did end well though when I received the prize from 3 Jolly Scrappers and also when I found out I was leading the House Final poll. It ends on Monday afternoon so I am keeping my fingers crossed as the other three layouts are all gorgeous.
