We have snow!!!

Like most of the UK we have experienced snow this week. Our schools were supposed to go back on Tuesday but so far they have not opened due to the snow. Fraserburgh, where I live has not had much snow even although as close as 5 miles away has had loads! Not sure if it is because we are situated right on the NE corner of Scotland and the winds and salty air have an effect or if we have just missed it. However that all changed today as there was a very heavy snowfall through the night and we woke to around 6 inches of the stuff. I had to get some food shopping today so we decided to walk to a small shop round the corner of the bottom of my street rather than try and get to the main supermarket. Of course the best way to get there and transport the shopping home was of course by sledge!
